Azimut is the title of the exhibition opening
on Sunday, June 28th at 9:00 PM
at the Galleria Europa
on the Europa 41 seafront in Lido di Camaiore (Lucca).
Curated by Gianni Costa, director of Mercurio Arte Contemporanea in Viareggio, which in 2026 marks 30 years of navigating its artistic and cultural journey:
The exhibition features recent paintings by some of the most significant artists who have participated in exhibitions promoted by the gallery on Corso Garibaldi over the years.
The silent architecture of Simone Bortolotti, the transparent vegetation of Annamaria Buonamici, the mysterious figures of Daniela Caciagli, the lyrical symbolism of Riccardo Corti, the sun-drenched scenarios of Giorgio Distefano, the dreamlike universe of Beppe Francesconi, the rarefied landscapes of Guido Morelli, the polychrome explosions of Gianluca Motto, the surreal settings of Armando Orfeo, the biting irony of Lisandro Rota, the visionary horizons of Riccardo Ruberti, the minimalist narrative of Valente Taddei:
twelve artists, Tuscan and Ligurian, born or adopted, with diverse creative backgrounds, in a kaleidoscopic ensemble that opens a window on contemporary figurative painting.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Camaiore.
It can be visited until July 15, 2026,
every day, from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
