Description:
In the premises of Villa Argentina in via Vespucci 44 in Viareggio (Lu), on Saturday 30 November 2024 at 4:00 pm the painting exhibition "Giorno x giorno" will be inaugurated.
On this occasion the 2025 Calendar of the Mercurio Arte Contemporanea gallery of Viareggio will be presented: an elegant table object, illustrated with the images of some of the works on display, created by the typography S. Marco di Badia di Cantignano (Lu) on a graphic design by Gianni Costa, director of the gallery.
The exhibition will exhibit recent paintings by twelve of the most significant artists who over the years have participated in the exhibitions promoted by the Viareggio gallery, active since 1996: Simone Bortolotti, Annamaria Buonamici, Daniela Caciagli, Riccardo Corti, Beppe Francesconi, Andrea Mancini, Guido Morelli, Gianluca Motto, Armando Orfeo, Lisandro Rota, Riccardo Ruberti and Valente Taddei.
Twelve Tuscan and Ligurian artists - who boast substantial curricula, with solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad - although different in style and technique, are united by a deep spirit of research in the field of contemporary figurative painting.
The exhibition, curated by Gianni Costa, is organized in collaboration with the Province of Lucca.
It can be visited until January 4, 2025, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 to 13:00;
Tuesday and Friday also open from 14:30 to 17:30 (closed on holidays).
Free admission.
