Heir to the tradition that saw the first great violinist schools born and flourish in Italy.
Uto Ughi showed an extraordinary talent from early childhood: at the age of seven he performed for the first time in public performing the chaconne from Bach's match n ° 2 and some Capricci di Paganini.
He carried out his studies under the guidance of George Enescu, former teacher of Yehudi Menuhin.
When he was only twelve and the critics wrote: "Uto Ughi must consider himself an artistically and technically mature concert artist".
He began his great tours by performing in the most important European capitals.
Since then his career has seen no stops.
He has played all over the world, in the main Festivals with the most renowned symphonic orchestras.
Uto Ughi plays with a 1744 Guarneri del Gesù violin, which has a warm sound with a dark timbre and is perhaps one of the most beautiful "Guarneri" existing, and with a 1701 Stradivarius called "Kreutzer" because it belonged to the homonymous violinist to whom Beethoven had dedicated the famous Sonata.
Uto Ughi on the occasion of the concert at Villa Bertelli will be accompanied on the piano by Maestro Bruno Canino.
