2024 in Camaiore comes the weekend dedicated to mountain bikes
Saturday 28th September: bike test; Sunday 29th September: non-competitive mountain bike rally on two routes
Versilia is the perfect location for those who love to venture out on mountain bikes among green hills, medieval villages
and ancient parish churches. Thus FrancigenAmica Bike was born, a two-day event with bike test
and non-competitive mountain bike rally on the Via Francigena of Camaiore! The new event, organized
by SEI Versilia aps, is scheduled for the weekend following the 9th Francigenamica, on Saturday
28 and Sunday 29 September 2024.
The event will open on Saturday 28 September in the large area adjacent to the Palasport of the Municipality of Camaiore,
where the FrancigenAmica Bike Village will be set up with the possibility of carrying out bike tests: those
who wish can try out the technical bikes of the event partners for free on one of the two
recommended routes.
The event will get into full swing the following day, Sunday 29 September, when the first
NON-COMPETITIVE MTB RALLY will be held on 2 ring routes of 20 km (medium) and 40 km (long)* starting
from the centre of Camaiore. The routes will both be on mixed terrain (asphalt and off-road) and can be
ridden by MTB, Gravel and E-Bike. Upon arrival, pasta party, prizes, gadgets and stands of exhibitors
in the sector with news in the bike sector.
The event is open to all mountain bike lovers, not just professionals: the routes are accessible to both
expert bikers and amateurs (if equipped with the necessary equipment and suitable physical preparation).
